Little Hayley Okines was told she would not live beyond the age of 13.

The girl suffers from a rare disease called progeria, which makes age children before they reach adolescence.

But now, after having celebrated her 14th birthday has defied all odds and to celebrate has published her autobiography.

Like any other teen book called  Old Before my Time, the details of the pop star crushes and an aversion to school.

But it is a vision in motion in a child with a disease Copes which has resulted in Hayley have the body of a 105-year-old.

The book was co-written with the help of his mother, Kerry, who has contributed to some of the chapters.

She writes: "She definitely seemed much wiser and more inquisitive than other 20 months of age, young children."

Progeria takes its name meaning 'from the Greek word 'proeros' meaning prematurely old and consists of a mutant protein called progerin accelerating physical aging.

Ages the body in eight times the normal rate, leaving Hayley skin is thin and papery and fragile bones.

Typically patients with Progeria die of heart attacks or strokes at a mean age of 13.

Mama says I'm one in eight million, because my condition is so rare, "Hayley says in his book.

Hayley, from Bexhill, East Sussex, turned 14 in December and is one of the 89 children in 32 countries living with progeria.

Kerry Mom knew something was wrong when her baby was not growing or gaining weight as fast as other children normally.

His family was devastated when diagnosed with Hutchinson-Gilford syndrome Progeria.

Hayley's story was catapulted to fame after she starred in the documentary called the girl who is older than his mother and the world's oldest teenager: extraordinary people.

In April last year, he was told a doctor that hip bones were in danger of dislocating and now she has to wear a corset uncomfortable close to 24 hours a day.

But his family is hopeful of a breakthrough in science may help you live a long and better than previous patients who have died from the disease.

Two American girls are also taking part in the clinical trial set in Boston, adding everolimus for the body that is believed to counteract progerin.

Are Lindsay Ratcliffe, eight, and Kaylee Halko, also eight.

Hayley said: "I feel like I have a future to plan. I think maybe when I grow up, I'm getting married. Mom says it has to be someone very special to see beyond my progeria.

Last year Hayley's mother told the MailOnline was hard to let go as Hayley grow.

She said: "It's hard." She obviously wants to get out and I let her go to local stores and go to sleep away from home.

"She also goes to the local shopping center with friends, but I like to be somewhere in the middle, at the same time and make sure she has her phone on her in case she needs me."

The Internet has opened up a whole new world for Hayley, who loves the Twitter social networking site.

It was because of his Twitter followers that she achieved a dream of pop singer Justin Bieber.

Hayley's younger brother Louis and sister Ruby considered a "celebrity" because she's been on Blue Peter and met famous people.

But she is increasingly aware that she is terminally ill and has been shown for flowers for a friend of the family with progeria, who died at age 14.

His mother said: "We sat down to talk about it, but had friends who have died and she is aware," said Kerry.

"We prefer to stay alive."

"I hope the new drug works well and stays healthy Hayley.
